Dora Hall and her crazy imagination

Published by zlobe at 11:54 am under Uncategorized Edit This

So when I was a kid we had a cassette tape of some lady named Dora Hall who sang children’s songs. We got it for free with some Solo cups proofs of purchase. We also had a VHS tape called “Moments with Dora” which was bizarre to say the least. Little did I know at the time that Dora happened to be the wife of the founder of Solo cups, who used his own money to finance all of Dora’s recordings and TV specials. They were trying to make Dora a star even though she was a grandmother in her 70s. I found this video on YouTube called “Doctor Sniffle Swiper” which was one of the songs on the audio cassette. After all this time I finally got to see the visual interpretation. I am not sure what year it was made (maybe early 1970s??) but I am more than a little freaked out after watching it. Dora is no longer alive but if she were I would want to ask her what were you people thinking?? Enjoy!
